The Container Home is one of the rare few container homes in Blue Ridge and was built with help from the famous container/tiny home Builder, Michael Hicks! This home was completed in 2022 and has been a successful vacation rental! It may be tiny, but no detail was overlooked from the custom butcher block kitchen counter and backsplash in the very functional kitchenette to the custom burnt mahogany barn door leading to the bathroom with a full sized shower and custom lighting. The massive rooftop deck & wraparound porch expand the living space to the outdoors. Imagine sitting in the hot tub surrounded by trees watching the sunset or lying on the rooftop hammock looking up at the Blue Ridge night sky. Enjoy beautiful seasonal mountain views, the noise of Fightingtown creek, and gorgeous sunsets at The Container Home. Roast s’mores around one of two firepits. There’s also a built-in charcoal grill & frisbee golf, and the lot is very gentle to level for outdoor activities. The home was constructed with spray foam insulation, PTAC heating/cooling unit, double pane windows, and is on city water. The creative use of space includes water heater and washer/dryer in the basement area.
